In early 2000, visitors had started comming to Rwanda for gorillas. They left asking a question no one could answer: How does a nation rise from genocide?
New Dawn Associates pioneered community-based tourism to bridge that gap. We trained Rwanda's guides in thematic interpretation. We shaped how the Kigali Genocide Memorial tells its story.
